About us
NDSOL Engineering UG was founded in 2023 in Aachen, Germany. The company offers services and consulting in engineering, specialized in numerical mechanics and data-based solutions. For example, in material and structural modeling and the development of AI tools for the detection and prediction of structural damage and deformation. The company conducts R&D in material modeling, especially in porous media and multiphase processes. It also develops AI tools for e.g. data-based material models and parameter identification. It provides support for project planning and management in these areas. In addition, it provides training and coaching in numerical mechanics, material modeling, and machine learning.

Dr.-Ing. habil. Yousef Heider
Dr. Heider is working at RWTH Aachen University since May 2014 (currently Akademischer Oberrat) and is the team leader of the research group "Multi-field mechanics". at the Institute of General Mechanics. In 2021, he completed his habilitation in the field of "Mechanics". From Oct. 2018 to Sept. 2019, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, Columbia University, NY, USA, and from July 2011 to April 2014, he worked as a project engineer at the Renewable Energy Technology Center of the construction company Ed. Züblin AG in Stuttgart,. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2012 and completed his Master's degree (2007) in Computational Mechanics and his Bachelor's degree (2003) in Civil Engineering.
